DESCRIPTION
Astrocyte is a conceptual social music generator that combines Microsoft Kinect, Adobe Flash, Ableton Live, and projection technologies for an immersive, intuitive music creation experience. We aimed to create a way for people without a creative outlet to make something awesome, without the intensive and time consuming training and practice that creative pursuits often require.

DESCRIPTION
For my team project I designed and animated a concept we had for a future website of the Astrocyte project. The idea is that It would house all of the "loops" created by users and make one "community loop" that people can listen to and download. The user would also be able to find their specific loop they created.

DESCRIPTION
During my internship at Stuck Axiom I helped work on a pitch for the Mt. Hood Territory website. Their current website was a jumble of information that looked like hadn't been updated since the 90s. It was a challenge to boil the site down to it's essentials, but I am really happy with how it came out.

DESCRIPTION
Our professor, Jason Arena, was fed up with his poorly designed navigation system in his Range Rover so he had us design and animate a better solution. My idea focuses on the idea of having "pods" of information heads-up so you can see important facts up front, with the ability to dive in deeper if necessary.

DESCRIPTION
Durring my internship at Stuck Axiom I worked closely with art director Abe Levin designing and producing both the Facebook and mobile versions of the Corona Beach Break app.
This was a great opportunity getting to work with a large brand as well as learning how multiple agencies can work together to create an awesome product.
The project also won FWA mobile site of the day.

DESCRIPTION
I am really bad at shopping and planing out meals, and that's how this app came about. The idea is that you can enter the items from your pantry and browse recipes that have similar items, saving you money and time. Then you can add the meals to your weekly calendar and go out shopping using the shopping list. I was able to work with Emmi Hintz, who equally helped come up with this awesome idea.

DESCRIPTION
For Ruckus Media Group, I was the lead designer along with Emmi Hintz on the Chuck & Friends app. Working directly with the clients I helped create assets for navigation and games as well as help layout the pages. The app is now available for download and can be found Here.

I wanted to experiment with photography, illustration and motion to tell a story about my road trip to Colorado. I built and painted the car & luggage bag, shot it all in the studio and edited them in Photoshop.

For my book illustration class I comped up an entire 30 page children's book and designed several pages. The story Billy & Buddha follows a boy and his dog on their adventure through the forest to find mushrooms for their supper.

I had the opportunity to join RIT's Reporter Magazine. A weekly printed color magazine that highlight's not only the event's at RIT but in the world. Even though it killed my Sundays I learned a lot about InDesign and layout that has helped me grow as a New Media Designer.

DESCRIPTION
Self Health is an iPad App that aims to combine a physical device, such as a ring or watch, with a simple user interface that allows a user to keep track of their own health without the need to consult a doctor. The app would allow users to keep track of all their personal bodily data, treat themselves, and update their doctors records, all through a simple application.
